Life - Parents are Very Important

Posted by [email protected] on September 3, 2015 at 12:40 AM Comments comments (0)

Having your parents in your life is a good thing. It's a great thing actually. As a child growing up, i have had fun times with my family. It was just me, my mom, my dad and my younger brother. Mom worked really hard as a secretary and my dad worked really hard as a construction worker.

Being the first child for my parents was hard on me as well as my parents. I was only a featus when they got married, so finiancial struggles existed, even though the economy was not as bad as it is now. As a result of this, both parents had to work to ensure their children were clothed and well fed. With both parents working, I mostly spent time with my aunts and uncles. It was fun even when my little brother came into the picture, because now i had someone to play with and relieve me of my lonely company.

When a child gets used to having a family around them to comfort, provide for, and cherish them, it actually makes the child feel more secure and stable. As a result of this, the absence of effective parenting and the presence of both parents in the life of a child will take a toll on the child.

My parents devorced when i was about 13 years old going into my second year of High School. Before the separation, they used to argue a lot and sometimes get physical. I can recall a time they had an argument, i was crying a lot, so i went to mom in the midst of the quarrel. Upon approaching my mother, i felt a stern grip on my arm followed by a hit in the mouth. I had to fold my lips to go to school because it was swollen. Now, I cannot express how i really felt, but my psychological reasoning was affected and i sunk into a state of depression. Leading up to the seperation of my parents, we (my brother and I) had to move from place to place with mom. After a while, My brother and I started living separately and I, for the most part had to struggle through High School and ensure my education.

Parents must be careful how your relationship is handle within the immediate family, especially in moments of heated arguments with your children present. The effects this may have on the child, depending on paren-child relations can have a long-lasting impression.

In conclussion, Parents play a very important role in the life of their child. And children play a very important role in their parents' lives. I respect my parents, despite the rocky roads we had to trod. #RealMedz #ShaynPrince

The One You Love

There is this feeling one has when one knows they have found the perfect person to have and to hold. Can you imagine what it would be like, if you and that person going along with your lives and suddenly, your special love is no longer around? The feeling of heartbreak cannot be discribed. I cannot even begin to imagine what that would be like. Persons reading this blog though, may just have an experience similar to what i am talking about here.

I have been in a situation where, I met this girl and upon getting to know more about her, started to fall in love. She expressed herself with all her heart, her love to me. Never before in any of my previous relationships have i had such feelings for anyone. I had a feeling i couldn't and still cannot discribe. The details of our relationship cannot be disclosed, but, I know the connection we had was strong. unfortunately we broke up for about 3 years now and I can't seem to get over the fact. Even though I was reaching out to her with this unique feeling that still exist, I am beginning to think that whatever transpired closed her heart to my ongoing request to retrieve what we had going for 2 years.

Another situation caught me recently where another female was attracted to me and I to her, but somehow i could not relieve myself of the feelings that still exist from the previous relationship. It is important that you not go into any relationship if you still have feelings for your ex, because it will not turn out on your behalf for the next girl you get with. (A lesson for all my brothers out there in a similar situation.)

For those of you who have a partner you truly love and they cherish you. Try your best not to loose them over little things nor big things. That unique feeling can never be replaced by anyone at all. Love and care for the people who cherish you regardless of their past mistakes. ‪‪
